Question 1: Where did you grow up?

I grew up mainly in Enon, Ohio, but when I was a junior in high school I moved to Virginia to live with my dad. I graduated from high school and college in Leesburg, Virginia.

Question 2: What is the best part about being a teacher/educator?

The best part of being an art educator is getting to be a central part of the creative process for all of these amazing kids! I may be tired at the end of the day, but I always feel so inspired to go home and create my own artwork. My students inspire me to continue living a creative lifestyle and sometimes they give me ideas for what to create too!

Question 3: When you’re not teaching, what do you like to do?

When I am not teaching I am hanging out with my adorable pup, Rudy. I love to curl up with a good book or work on my personal artwork. I also love to play board games with my friends.
